Council of Ezendigbo Meets With BOT Over Igbo Speaking Community Crisis

The Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State led by Eze Agbowodikeizu Nwalozie has paid a courtesy visit to Board of Trustees (BOT) of the Igbo Speaking community led by their Chairman, Dr Jonathan Nnaji, on a fact finding mission over the crisis in the community. 
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the delegation was led by the Vice Chairman of the Council and Ezendigbo in Aboru, Eze (Dr) Ephraim Nnaemeka.
Also part of the delegation were, Ezendigbo in Mushin LGA, Eze John Nwosu, Ezendigbo in Otto Awori, Eze Timothy Nwanoro, Eze Umuokorobia Gburugburu and Ezendigbo in Ire Akari, Isolo, Eze Joseph Mba, Ezendigbo in Igbogbo Beyaku in Ikorodu, Pastor Okey Anoruo and Ezendigbo in Olorunde, Badagry, Eze Nduka Ekoh.
They were received by the Chairman and Secretary of BOT, Dr  Nnaji and Chief Obinwadigo at Surulere, Lagos, where they met and discussed on the recent developments in the Igbo Speaking Community, Lagos State.
The Vice Chairman of Council of Ezendigbo, Eze Nneamaka explained that the purpose of the visit was to find out the situation of things in the Igbo Speaking Community based on recent developments on consent judgment and the Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State.
Eze Nneamaka said that they were satisfied with the efforts the BOT was making to restore peace in the Igbo Speaking Community in order to end the lingering crises that had lasted over the years.
He also explained that the BOT also assured the delegation that there is only one Igbo Speaking Community Council of Ezendigbo, which is headed by Eze Nwalozie and was created in 2003 by the community.
He said that the Council commended the BOT for their efforts and assured them of their support to ensure that peace is finally restored in the Igbo Speaking Community.
On the factional group parading themselves as Council of Ndieze, which has not been recognized by the BOT, if the Council will accept them in their fold, Eze Nnaemeka explained that if the group realizes their mistakes and clears themselves with the BOT, they will accept them in as much as they meet with the standard of Council of Ezendigbo.
He stated that the Council will do everything possible to ensure that peace is returns to the Igbo Speaking community for the interest of Ndigbo in Lagos State.
The BOT Chairman, Dr Nnaji confirmed the visit and explained that the purpose of their visit was to know the extent the BOT has gone in respect of the Court consent judgment and other issues related to the peace and progress of the Community.
