Posted on August 12, 2025
The Executive Chairman of Ojodu LCDA, Lagos State, Hon Segun Odunmbaku, has celebrated teeming youths of the Council area as the world marks International Youth Day.
In his goodwill message to the youths, Hon Odunmbaku said, “On this year’s International Youth Day, I extend my heartfelt greetings and best wishes to all our vibrant, talented and visionary youths in Ojodu LCDA”.
“Our youths are the heartbeat of community growth and under the *HEYSRELOADED Agenda*, we have placed youth development at the very core of our policies and programmes that equip our young people to thrive in an ever-changing world.”
“Today, we are distributing *250 FREE GCE Forms* to qualified candidates across the LCDA — a bold step towards giving every young person a fair chance to excel academically. Beyond education, our administration has rolled out various youth-focused initiatives — including capacity-building workshops, vocational training and entrepreneurship support — ensuring that our young men and women are empowered not just for jobs, but for leadership and innovation.”
“As we celebrate International Youth Day 2025, I reaffirm our pledge to continue creating opportunities, platforms and policies that will unlock your full potential. You are not just the leaders of tomorrow — you are change-makers today, and together, we will keep building an Ojodu LCDA that works for everyone.”
“Happy International Youth Day!
Long live Ojodu LCDA!
Long live our Youths!” the Ojodu Mayor, Hon Segun Odunmbaku concluded.
