Bella Amor Global Aid Foundation, in collaboration with the Presidency, through the office of the Senior Special Assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on School Feeding, has launched its nationwide Renewed Hope Mo’feed project in Lagos State.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the launching was held on Wednesday, 1st October, 2025, at Festival Hotel in Lagos.
Many dignitaries including Dr Yetunde Adeniji, Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on the School Feeding and the Lagos State Governor and Nassarawa State Governor were duly represented at the official launch of the Renewed Hope Mo’Feed Project, Fundraising Gala & Humanitarian Award Night, which saw over 1000 guests in attendance.
The event was designed to meet the essential need of school children with the aim to cushion hunger and empower families through the school feeding initiative by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. This initiative has expanded to building partnerships with sister bodies such as NGOs and individuals ready to partake in doing corporate social responsibilities to cater for vulnerable school children and women.
According to Mirabel Etuk, President and Founder of Bella Amor Global Aid,  the Renewed Hope Mo’Feed Project, initiative is aimed at a progressive Nigeria where no child goes to school hungry and families are empowered.
The project, she said, aligns with the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, focusing on food security and poverty reduction. She further stated that the Mo’Feed Project also aims to feed over 600,000 vulnerable Nigerians and restore dignity through compassion-driven initiatives.
Etuk thanked the Presidency, particularly Dr Yetunde Adeniji, for their collaboration and urged for cooperative donations to support this transformative mission, highlighting the importance of collective action for a better future in Nigeria.
Hon. Dr Yetunde Adeniji, Senior Special Assistant to the President of Nigeria on the School Feeding Programme, noted that the Renewed Hope Agenda by the President prioritises inclusivity, especially for children and the future of Nigeria. With 8 out of 10 children in rural areas facing malnutrition, the school feeding programme, initiated by the previous administration and continued by the current President, aims to address this critical issue.
She also stated that the school feeding initiative not only feeds children but also supports women and local farmers, promoting sustainability. In light of rising out-of-school rates, sponsorship and feeding programmes have successfully encouraged children to return to school; creating partnerships with various stakeholders for the programme’s sustainability is urged. Hon. He commended the visionaries and partners behind this initiative, urging collective effort in combating hunger and emphasising the importance of every citizen’s role in fostering a society where hunger does not impede growth and dignity; the focus must shift from merely providing food aid to building resilience and empowering individuals.
