Human Rights Activist and Social Crusader, Evangelist Comrade Vincent Ezekwueme, has been bestowed with an outstanding meritorious services award by Trinitas School of Evangelization, Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha, Anambra State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the award was given to Comrade Ezekwueme, who is also United Nations Ambassador for peace award winner, during her 8th Matriculation and 5th Commission of students held on Saturday 11th October, 2025, at All Hallows Seminary, Onitsha.

The event started with a Pontifical Mass by His Grace Most Rev Dr.Valerian Maduka Okeke, represented by the Diocesean Vicar General, Very Rev Fr. Johnbosco Okafor.

Presenting the Award of Great Achiever to Comrade Ezekwueme AMBP-UN, the School Coordinator/Director stated that the award is in recognition and appreciation of his tremendous contributions towards preaching, spreading and practicing the bible, protection of human rights and dignity, championing the causes that lacks assistance, being voice for the voiceless and a dogged advocate for justice and good governance.

A visibly elated Ezekwueme thanked the management for the honour and recognition of his little contributions for the betterment of the society. He promised to continue to do more than ever before to always agitate for the interest and social wellbeing of Nigerian citizens.

Meanwhile, Comrade Ezekwueme commended Governor Soludo for his unique wisdom in banning the graduation and Christmas parties in both public, private and mission schools, which has been a conduit pipe for extortions and exploitations of parents.

He advised that the Government should ensure strict, holistic and transparent implementation of this laudable policy. He recalled that the CLO has severally appealed to Gov. Soludo to ban it because it has no moral,  reformative, transformative or educative advantage to the students and parents.

“Most pathetic, despicable and detestable is that they organize graduation party before student sit for promotion examinations. Few years ago, CLO posed this unanswered question to the proprietors, “You organized graduation party before examination, what about if anyone of them failed?”

“The most worrisome is the outrageous school fees by Mission Schools, which parents are lamenting, asking if they are not under government authority and supervision.”

“We are equally appealing to Gov. Soludo to call the authorities of Mission and Private Schools to order, exert their supervisory role and direct the Honourable Commissioner for Education to pay impromptu visits for on the spot assessments of true situation of things in those schools.”

“I wish to reiterate my earlier appeals to Professor Charles Soludo to establish Primary and Secondary Schools around 3-3, Mba Farm, Nkwelle, Brothers of St. Stephen, Nsugbe axis due to lack of government institutions” Ezekwueme stated.
