Heavy Traffic On Lagos /Ibadan Expressway

Travellers going to Lagos from Ibadan and those coming from Ibadan to Lagos face herculean task of getting to their destinations on Saturday as accident involving one petrol tanker and a truck carrying container has caused heavy traffic on the expressway.

The incident happened few kilometers after Foursquare camp.

P.M.EXPRESS observed that the long stretch of the traffic is several kilometers from the point of the accident with vehicles coming from both sides of the expressway heading toward each other.

The men of Federal Road Safety Corps and Ogun State Traffic Marshall, though they are on ground, they couldn’t help the situation.

As at the time of filling this report, effort is being made to offload petrol inside the tanker in order to avert more damage.
