The Taiwo Ololade Salvador (TOS) Educational Initiative has rolled out its “One Dictionary Per Child” campaign, aiming to give every pupil in Lagos‑State public schools a personal dictionary.
The much talked about event will take place on the 20th of November 2025 at the Dr. Finnih Park, 3 Opebi roundabout, Allen Avenue, Ikeja, Lagos State, starting from 9am.
The programme, built on the belief that a dictionary unlocks knowledge, seeks to boost vocabulary, reading comprehension and overall academic performance among children.
The Founder and CEO Ololade Taiwo Salvador (BSc CJ, MBA, CICSF) explained, “This campaign is more than a book distribution, it’s an investment in future thinkers, innovators and leaders. Literacy is the cornerstone of empowerment, and no child should miss out because of a lack of learning materials”.
She revealed further that the initiative also hopes to close the resource gap that affects thousands of children in underserved Lagos communities. By encouraging regular reading and comprehension, it supports long‑term student development across the state’s public schools. TOS is calling for volunteers, corporate sponsors, educators and community leaders to join the effort.
“We are all stakeholders in our children’s future. Please volunteer, partner, or support us to reach more learners,” Ololade Salvador pleaded.
