Council of Ezendigbo In Lagos State Pays Condolence Visits To Family Of Late Agbawodikeizu Nwalozie

Members of the Council of Ezendigbo in Lagos State have paid condolence visit to the family of their late Chairman, Eze Agbowodikeizu Nwalozie, who passed on recently on 31st December, 2025, in Spain. 

 

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the visit was led by the Vice Chairman of the Council  and Ezendigbo in Aboru, Eze Ephraim Nnaemeka (Okosisi), General Secretary and Ezendigbo in Mushin, Eze John Nwosu (Ohamadike), Ezendigbo in Ejigbo LCDA, Eze Alex Nwoye, Ezendigbo in Igbogbo Kingdom, Eze Pastor Okey Anoruo (Ezesinachi), Eze Umuokorobia, among others including their cabinet members of Ndieze.

Joined in the visit included the Igbo Speaking Community, Lagos State led by their President General, Chief Sunday Udeh, (Onwa and some members of his Executives members. Also the Board of Trustees of the Igbo Speaking Community was also represented by their Director of Media and Publicity,  Chief Cyriacus Izuekwe among others.

 

They were received by the first son of late Eze Nwalozie, Mr. Uchenna Nwalozie, cabinet members, family members and wellwishers of late Nwalozie, who was the Ezendigbo of Ikeja LGA before he passed on.

 

The Council’s Vice Chairman, Eze Nnaemeka expressed shock over the demise of their leader, Eze Agbowodikeizu Nwalozie, who he described as a man of integrity, honesty and unimpeachable character with a heart of Gold.

He explained that when he heard about his death through an official letter from his Palace Secretary,  he was speechless as well as the Council members.

 

Eze Nnaemeka stated that nobody can question God and we have to accept the fact that it was God’s wish and He decided to take him away at this period and there is nothing any human being can do.

He explained that the Council’s visit was to console the family and the cabinet members and to know the plans for his burial, which the Council of Ezendigbo will participate fully.

 

The president of the Igbo Speaking Community, Chief Sunday Udeh,  described the death as shocking and noted that the late Agbowodikeizu Nwalozie was a man of honesty and integrity.

He consoled the family and cabinet members and indeed Ndigbo in Lagos State for the irreparable loss because he was man of the people who has a good heart and assisted many people in various ways.

 

Chief Udeh stated that the Igbo Speaking Community and indeed Ndigbo will fully participate in the burial and have come to know the plans for the burial so that the leadership will be fully involved.

 

The son of late Eze Nwalozie, Mr. Uchenna, thanked the Council for the visit to honour their late father and noted that it showed that the Council,  Igbo Speaking and indeed Ndigbo recognized the contributions of their late father. He explained that the family was making every arrangement to bring the corpse back to Nigeria and after that the date for the burial will be announced and communicated to the stakeholders.

 

Also a cabinet member of late Eze Nwalozie, Chief Ohazuruike thanked the Council members and the Igbo Speaking Community for the visit and stated that all the stakeholders will be contacted once the family chooses a date for the burial.

 

Some of the speakers during the visit described the late Nwalozie as a man who contributed immensely for the progress of Ndigbo in both Ikeja LGA and Lagos State.
