National Convention: APC Women Stakeholders Purchase Nominations Form For Dr. Mary Alile-Idele

In a coordinated show of solidarity and confidence in her leadership, the women stakeholders on Monday contributed the sum of ₦2,600,000 (Two Million, Six Hundred Thousand Naira) to secure the forms on her behalf, reaffirming their desire for her to continue in office.

Presenting the cheque to the APC National Women Leader at the Party’s National Secretariat, the stakeholders described Dr. Mary Alile-Idele as a tested mobilizer, inclusive leader, and strategic builder of party structures whose tenure has strengthened women’s participation, expanded grassroots mobilization for the APC, and actively propagated the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu across the country.
They noted that under her leadership, the APC women’s structure has become more coordinated, vibrant, and effective in advancing the objectives of the Party and the administration, while deepening grassroots engagement nationwide.
The women stakeholders emphasized that their action is not merely symbolic but strategic, reflecting a growing national consensus among APC women that continuity in leadership will consolidate the gains already recorded under Dr. Alile-Idele’s stewardship.
“As women party stakeholders from across the country, we believe strongly that leadership must be sustained where it is delivering results. Dr. Mary Alile-Idele has demonstrated capacity, commitment, and vision, and we are proud to stand firmly behind her,” they stated.
The stakeholders also expressed confidence that the anticipated return of the position to Edo State, under the performing and development-focused leadership of His Excellency, Governor Monday Okpebholo, aligns with the Party’s commitment to fairness, balance, and inclusivity within its national leadership structure.
They further reaffirmed their readiness to continue mobilizing women across the federation to strengthen the APC, deepen grassroots participation, and ensure greater inclusion of women in the Party’s activities and leadership processes.
Beyond the internal leadership process, the women stakeholders reaffirmed their unwavering commitment to the propagation of the Renewed Hope Agenda of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, noting that the administration’s policies and reforms are laying the foundation for sustainable national development, economic recovery, and inclusive governance.
They emphasized that the women’s wing of the APC, under the leadership of Dr. Mary Alile-Idele, remains a critical mobilization force for the Party and will continue to galvanize support across communities nationwide to deepen public understanding and ownership of the Renewed Hope Agenda.
Consequently, the stakeholders urged Nigerians to continue supporting the administration and expressed strong confidence in the leadership of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, pledging to work collectively towards ensuring his resounding re-election in 2027 in order to consolidate the reforms and progress being recorded under his administration.
