​Minister Of Transportation Resigns To Pursue Gubernatorial Ambition

​The Minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, has officially tendered his resignation to the Presidency. 

This move follows the Presidential directive requiring all political appointees seeking elective offices to step down from their current roles.

​The Minister resigned in order to contest for the governorship in the upcoming elections.

In his letter, he expressed deep appreciation to the President for the opportunity to serve, citing significant progress made in the transportation sector during his tenure.

​The President has accepted the resignation and thanked the Minister for his dedicated service to the nation.
