Oduduwa Support Organisation To Hold Unveiling Ceremony In Ibadan

The Oduduwa Support Organisation is set to hold its official inauguration and press conference on April 22nd, tentatively scheduled to take place at Liberty Stadium, Ibadan, Oyo State.

This landmark event marks a significant milestone in the growth and strategic positioning of the Organisation. The inauguration is aimed at establishing Oyo State as the operational headquarters of the movement, symbolizing a renewed commitment to Yoruba development, political mobilization, and regional cohesion across the Southwest geopolitical zone.

The Organisation, a coalition of grassroots mobilizers within the All Progressives Congress (APC), has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu in 2027.

The National Leader, Chief Vincent Bakare, noted that Ibadan was deliberately chosen as the host city in recognition of its historical and political significance as the capital of Yorubaland.

Speaking on the Organisation’s strategic direction, the Director General and CEO of the organisation Otunba Olusola Orelaja, outlined comprehensive plans for voter mobilization, including structured door-to-door engagement, coordinated grassroots outreach, and targeted digital campaigns. He further disclosed that the Organisation currently comprises over 300 affiliated support groups across various states, all committed to advancing the objectives of the APC.

The inauguration is expected to attract key stakeholders, including party leaders, government officials, traditional rulers, and other prominent figures from across the region. The event forms part of a broader agenda to promote unity, economic advancement, and sustainable development within Yorubaland.

The mission of the Oduduwa Support Organisation is anchored on the restoration of Yoruba dignity, economic empowerment, and social progress. To achieve these goals, the Organisation has outlined several impactful initiatives, including scholarship programs, community-based food support systems, agricultural development, healthcare outreach, public awareness campaigns, justice advocacy, and infrastructure development.

Cultural Preservation: Promoting and protecting Yoruba heritage and values

Yoruba Unity: Strengthening collaboration, solidarity, and collective progress among Yoruba people.

The Oduduwa Support Organisation is led by its National Leader, Chief Vincent Bakare, with Otunba Olusola Orelaja serving as Director General.
