Nigeria Fills UN Seat As Jimoh Ibrahim Presents His Letter of Credence

Senator Jimoh Ibrahim on Monday April 20, 2026 formally presented his Letter of Credence to the United Nations in New York , United States of America.

UN Secretary General António Guterres, officially received and accredited him as the Permanent Representative Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.

Ambassador Ibrahim assured the United Nations and the global community that President Bola Tinubu will resolve generational problems confronting Nigeria.

He sought the support and cooperation of the international community as President Tinubu tackles the challenges head on.
