Ikeja LG Boss, Comrade Dauda Holds Monthly Prayer Meeting

The Executive Chairman of Ikeja Local Government, Comrade Akeem Olalekan Dauda (AKOD), has held the monthly Muslim prayer meeting in conjunction with the Ikeja League of Imams.
The spiritual gathering, which has become a consistent routine since the Chairman assumed office, is aimed at seeking divine guidance, peace, and continued progress for Ikeja Local Government and its residents.

Speaking at the meeting, the Council Chairman, Comrade Dauda, emphasized the importance of spiritual reflection and collective supplication in governance, noting that sustainable development is anchored not only on policies and programmes but also on divine direction and wisdom. He appreciated the Ikeja League of Imams for their unwavering support and commitment to fostering unity, peace, and moral consciousness within the local government.

The Chairman further prayed for continued harmony among residents, growth in infrastructural development, and success in all ongoing and future initiatives of the administration.
Special prayers were offered for the peace, stability, and prosperity of Ikeja, Lagos State, and Nigeria at large, as well as for the success of leaders at all levels of government.

The monthly prayer meeting continues to serve as a platform for strengthening the bond between leadership and the community, while reinforcing the values of faith, unity, and service.
