Man Battered By Woman In Public Brawl, Breaks Down In Tears

A man, Mr. Joseph Orhosere reportedly broke down in tears at the police station after he engaged a woman, Ajiyo Doris in a public brawl and he was beaten mercilessly.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Ikotun area of Lagos where they resided.
It was gathered that the suspect had an undisclosed disagreement with the victim which led to a public fight. The victim had thought he would easily beat up the suspect, unknown to him that she was stronger and had enough power to inflict injury on him.
During the fight, the suspect reportedly overpowered the victim, beat him up mercilessly and event tore his shirt and singlet. It took the intervention of those who were present to rescue the victim from sustaining further injuries. They wondered how the suspect had such enormous power to subdue the victim.
The matter was reported to the police at Ikotun Division, Doris was then arrested and detained at the police station.
The victim was given a note by the Police in order to go to the General Hospital to ascertain the degree of the injury he sustained during the fight.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that throughout the period he was at the police station, he was in tears and wondered how the woman possessed such power to attack and suppress him in such a manner in the public.
Doris was later charged before the Magistrates court sitting in Ejigbo for the alleged offence.
She pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector G. Simon did not oppose her bail.
Thus the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. L.K.J Layeni granted Doris bail in the sum of N40,000 with one surety in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 13 June, 2018.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that it was not the first time the suspect was beating up a man, as those who knew her said that she had enough strength to suppress men and mess them up by beating them silly before this incident.
It was also confirmed that it was not the first time a woman was arrested and charged to court for a similar offence. Another man was attacked and beaten up by his wife and the man ran to the police station for safety. The woman in question is now facing trial for assault before Ogba Magistrates court in Lagos for the alleged offence.
