32 Artillery Brigade Commences Clearance Operation Of Black Spots In Ekiti State

As a result of incessant robbery and kidnapping incidents in Ekiti State recently, the Commander 32 Artillery Brigade, Brigadier General James Ataguba, has led a team of troops of the brigade in a clearance operation. within the general area of Efon Alaaye local Government area in Ekiti State.

According to Major Ojo Adenegan,
Assistant Director Army Public Relations, the clearance operation commenced early hours of Friday by 5am, where thick forested areas of Arifa community along Iwaraja Road was combed.

“While combing the tick forested areas a decomposed body of a man suspected to be a victim of kidnapping incident was found with his GSM phone ringing repeatedly. The Nigerian police and and the state Government have been informed for the evacuation of the decomposed body”

“Consequently, we are  using this medium to inform the general public within the area not to panic in sighting movement of troops as the operation continue, in order to make those black spots crime free” he said.

The general public are advised to cooperate in achieving more success in cause of the clearance operation in the area of information sharing on the activities of the criminals through the brigade call centre hotlines 09030002151 and 09030002161.
