Woman Sacked After 7 Years of Barrenness, Now Pregnant For Lover

Seven-year old marriage between a couple, one Mr. Martins and his estranged wife, Grace, has collapsed after she was unable to bear a child for those years in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that barely two years after Grace was sent away by her husband, she is now pregnant for her lover though they were yet to get married.

The couple resided in Orile area of Lagos but after Grace was sent away she rented an apartment at Ijede area of Ikorodu, Lagos, where she eventually became pregnant for her lover.

It was gathered that Martins and Grace met some years back in their home town in Delta State, where she attended school, they got married and he brought her to Lagos. Grace said that they had tried both medical and spiritual solutions for her to get pregnant but they did not work and they resorted to their fate waiting for God’s intervention.

She said that because she was childless, her husband’s behaviour changed due to the pressure he was getting from his immediate family who advised him to send her away. She narrated that she was surprised two years ago, when her husband’s siblings gathered in their home at Orile and asked her to move out of the house in order to give their brother space to think properly and know what to do next. She said that she pleaded with them to give her at least one month to get another accommodation where she can move her belongings.

Grace then contacted her friend who got her an accommodation in Ikorodu, she moved in with tears and pains but continued her work. She said that she was frustrated to the extent that she decided not to have anything with any man again until she met her present lover. She narrated that after a while; she discovered changes in her body and went for a pregnant test. The doctor confirmed that she was pregnant. She said that she was still shocked but happy because of the trauma she had passed through being childless. She revealed that since two years that she was sent away, her estranged husband had tried two other women but they all left him.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Martins had indicated interest to reconcile with Grace as he claimed that it was his family that forced him to do what he did. Martins was said to have got hint about the pregnancy and claimed to be the father of the baby because he had secretly visited Grace in her house on two occasions.
