Ahead of APGA party primary elections, the front line aspirant for Oyi/Ayamelum Federal Constituency Hon.Ekene Enefe has announced Chief Benneth Chinweze as his Campaign Manager for the APGA Party’s primary slated to take place in August 2018.
Celebrations broke out over the announcement on Saturday, June 16, 2018, with party stakeholders from Oyi and Ayamelum Federal constituency registering satisfaction on the choice of ‘Afunze Oyi’ as the Campaign Manager.
“This is a historic occasion,” said Hon Ekene Enefe who made the announcement at a dinner party organised by Enefe Dike Campaign Organisation in his country home Ogbunike, Anambra State. He said the choice of Chief Chinweze who is currently the President General of Nteje, and one time Campaign DG of a former Governorship aspirant Prof Chukwuma Soludo, was based on his profound antecedents, capacity, and astute leadership quality.
The handing over of the letter of appointment was witnessed by APGA faithfuls, youths, friends and fans of Enefe Dike from both Oyi and Ayamelum Local Government Areas.
Chief Chinweze ‘Afunze Oyi’ who entered politics over 28 years ago and had played political leadership role in several capacities, is now expected to lead Enefe Dike Campaign team and put forward his vision for the organization, which traditionally has been rooted in total emancipation of Oyi/Ayamelum constituents from poor representation at the Green Chambers.
Chief Chinweze will also need to ensure that the APGA party’s traditional vote bank in Oyi and Ayamelum Local Government Areas as witnessed in Governor Willie Obiano’s successful reelection, remains intact. The Oyi born political mathematician, grassroot mobiliser and game changer promised to work assiduously to deliver Hon Ekene Enefe both at the party primary and main election.
Some political allies of Hon Ekene Enefe who witnessed the inauguration ceremony of Enefe Dike Campaign Team remained positive that Chief Chinweze would step up to the task.
