The Veiled Attempt To Square Dr Ramatu Tijani With Gate Crasher In The Name Of Political Opinion

Desperation has set in the build up to “Our Great Party’s Convention” and those who are seeking opportunity to reap where they did not sow are machinating spurious write-ups in attempt to sneak into the position of APC National Women Leader. One of such write-ups that was published in one mushroom online platform on the 19th of June, 2018, Daily News Time, written by one Safiya Ali, attempted to compare Hajia Dr Ramatu Tijani and Hajia Salamatu. This comparison is a sublime attack on Dr Ramatu and it falls short of “Expected Role Performance; they did a poor job, because it exposed the author’s ignorance.

There is need to let Nigerians know that in relation to all their points, they failed to see things from the point of “NATIONAL INTEREST”.

We are not looking for Kogi State Women Leader, we are focused on keeping Dr Ramatu Tijani, because she had continued to serve “National Interest”

The said Salamatu has only been good to Kogi people according to them. The examples they gave in their poor attempt to sell her as a grassroots person even when she was a federal civil servant ended up revealing how she got only Kogi people employed in federal service. That smacks of “NEPOTISM”.

APC cannot afford to suffer the kind of distractions that will arise from her resentment for people of other tribes when we are supposed to be be pursing a “National Agenda” as a party.

Again you cannot compare Dr Ramatu Tijani who is scandal free with someone who has a “reputational challenge” even in this era of probity. There is nothing to compare with someone whose name is replete with “negative stories” of queries and insubordination while in the civil service.

APC and President Mohammadu Buhari need NATION BUILDERS” around now and not ethnic jingoist and people swimming in negative stories.

Nigerians are satisfied with having such scandal free party National Women Leader as we have in Dr Ramatu Tijani. We are in the era of anti corruption; people who have character issues will be a bigger burden than we can carry.

Dr Ramatu Tijani accentuated her national capacity by being in the forefront of bringing APC to power when the said Salamatu was enjoying the PDP corrupt regime and it was difficult to imagine they could be booted out. Dr Ramatu Tijani is part of a great army that wrestled power from an incumbent government. No WISE PERSON will take that for granted. Those who doubt proofs are not “WISE”.

Dr Ramatu Tijani has achieved a great feat that is worth maintaining. We are not testing the microphone, we are in the middle of a serious national assignment. You cannot afford to change a “TESTED NATIONAL HAND” for a supposed local player.

Some people are only scheming to reap where they did not sow and they are coming with the wrong argument.

Their so called articleI is a poorly veiled attempt to be objective when in actual fact the writer is dancing to the beats of the paymaster in a nearby bush.

Secondly the woman who the paymaster is funding from the coffers of Kogi State is a career civil servant who only just retired from a controversy ridden career in Lagos. The claim of “being on ground” is ironic because it is the said Salaamatu who is alien to Kogi politics. Until very recently, civil servants were prohibited from partisan politics). Since she spent the better part of her life in Lagos and squarely in the civil service.

Unless of course she means she has all the while been breaching the civil service rules; in which case she is most unfit to hold the office of the National Women leader of an UPRIGHT PROGRESSIVE” party like the APC.

At any rate, the KOGI GOVERNMENT (which incidentally the incumbent national women leader Dr Ramatu Tijani “HELPED ENTHRONE”) by working tirelessly for, when the said Salamatu was in the PDP swimming pool, cannot also claim to be on ground given the current political realities in Kogi.

General atmosphere of dissatisfaction, disenchantment, and wanton disillusionment that is pervading the atmosphere in a once vibrant Confluence state is because those who are beneficiaries of efforts by the likes of Dr Ramatu Tijani are messing up. We cannot afford to have an APC in Kogi that the common man feels distant from; and by extension end up plundering the fortunes of the APC and PMB in the forthcoming general elections.

Well meaning Stakeholders in the state must close ranks to deliver Kogi for Mr. President and the APC. Trying to “PULL DOWN ONE OF THE PILLARS” of the party in the state is a wrong place to start.

For an office that does not pay salaries, like Salamatu was getting, the incumbent national women leader has done creditably well in empowering her constituents by way of provision of small scale business start up kits to hundreds of women and youths through personal efforts. And she doesn’t need to advertise “her goodwill” and generosity to the world because her actions are not for political gain.

The writer can verify the role of progressive youths for prince Audu/APC, during the campaigns in 2015, the DG, ‘Prince Audu Campaign Organization’ is still alive to testify on the activities of this youth group in KOGI East, whose activities were “ENHANCED” by Dr Ramatu Tijani. How will you say such a person is not on ground politically?

Dr Ramatu has empowered thousands  of women and youth across the country including the Federal Capital Territory. Ramatu presently has more than 20 Nigerians in her household for shelter irrespective of language and tribal barriers.

Dr Ramatu has relocated, found shelter/ accommodation and created means of livelihood to many IDPs and flood victims.

Dr Ramatu has been a follower and political associate of President Buhari for 16 good years. This beautiful Kogi princess’s history with President Buhari dates back to ‘The Buhari Organisation’ (TBO), ANPP merger and down to the formation of APC and she has been behind Buhari.

A detribalised Nigerian, philanthropist and veteran politician who used her entire youthful years serving humanity and in support of President Buhari for 2 decades across the country. She is at home with her people; is well cherished by her people and regarded as their pride and jewel of inestimable value.

Dr Ramatu Tijani is tested; she is credible; she is capable for the national women leadership going forward; she is on ground and she is scandal free. No room for experiments in the coming election. Dr Ramatu Tijani is the best we have for now.
