A single lady, Miss William De-Dooshima, landed in trouble after she deflated a man, one Mr. Akeem Lawal, publicly in Lagos and told him bluntly that she did not love him.

The 35-year old Lawal reacted angrily and insisted that the lady must love him by force or face death in Lagos.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Block 5, Olusegun Olusemo Street, Parkview Estate in Ikoyi, Lagos, where they resided.

Police sources said that Mr. Lawal had boasted to the lady that he was a member of a secret cult known as Vikings and that she must love him or he will use his cult members to kill her. The victim became afraid and reported the threat to the police. Mr. Lawal was arrested and detained at the police station.

Mr. Lawal who resided in the same area with De-Dooshima was very confident and approached her for love advance. But to his greatest surprise, the lady rejected his advances and told him that she does not love him and will not engage in any affairs with you. It was gathered that the lady’s response deflated Lawal’s ego and
he then threatened to kill her unless she changed her mind.

It was gathered that Lawal arranged some people suspected to be cult members, who monitored the victim’s movement to put pressure on her to accept. When the threat became unbearable for the victim, she reported to the police and he was arrested.

He was later charged before Ikeja Magistrates court for conspiracy, threat to life and belonging to an unlawful society.

He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Mr. Benson Emuerhi did not oppose his being granted bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O. Sule-Amzat granted Lawal bail in the sum of N20,000 with two sureties in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 30 July, 2018.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that Lawal might have not meant to harm the lady but might have used the cult issue to scare her in order to accept his love passes which has landed him in prison.
