Man Sneaks Into Lady’s House For Sex, Lands In Prison

A 34-year old man who sneaked into a lady’s apartment at night for sex has landed in trouble as he was arrested as a suspected criminal and sent to prison in Lagos.

The suspect, Chukwuma Emeghara, was arrested and charged before the court as the complainant, one Gloria Ebele, alleged that he entered into her apartment without her consent and stole her laptop worth N75,000.

The incident happened at Sebanjo Street in Mushin area of Lagos where Gloria resides.

The matter was reported to the Mushin Police Division; Chukwuma was arrested and detained at the police station as a suspect to provide the stolen item.
P.M.EXPRESS scooped that the suspect at that point had no choice than to open up on his mission in Gloria’s apartment. He reportedly informed the police that he was not a criminal but only went there to have sex with her.
But he was unable to convince the police on his mission as he admitted that he was not invited by the complainant who claimed that he stole her laptop.
The police found him culpable and charged him before the Isolo Magistrates court for stealing.
He pleaded not guilty. The prosecutor, Inspector Rita Momah, did not object his bail but asked the court for a date for trial.
The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. O.A. Adegbite, granted him bail in the sum if N100,000 with one surety in like sum.
He was remanded in prison custody pending when he will perfect his bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 11th December, 2018. When our correspondent contacted Chukwuma, he still denied that he stole the item and maintained that he went there to woo her and not to steal.
