2 Ladies Docked For Fighting Over Lover

Two single ladies, Ifeoma John, 24 and Nnenna Ekemezie, 23, have been arrested in Lagos for engaging in a public brawl over lover.

The incident happened at Nedu Okafor Street in Ajao Estate where they reside.

According to the police, the suspects and others now at large had disagreement over a man which resulted in exchange of words and later to public fight. It took the intervention of the police to bring the matter under control; the two ladies were arrested and detained at the Ajao Police Division.

P.M.EXPRESS scooped that during interrogation, the police realized that the ladies constituted public nuisance by engaging in public fight over a man. Thus, the DPO directed that the suspects be charged to court for their conduct in public.

They were charged before the Ogba Magistrates court for conspiracy and affray. The prosecutor, Inspector Koti, informed the court that the defendants were arrested for affray while the other accomplices were still at large.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M.O. Taniwole, granted them bail in the sum of N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
They were remanded in prison custody pending when they will perfect their bail condition.
The matter was adjourned till 5th December, 2018.
