Man Snatches Neighbour’s Wife, Takes Custody Of Son

A man has been arrested for allegedly snatching his neighbour’s wife, taking custody of their son and keeping the woman as his own wife.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the suspect, Muyideen Adekunle, reportedly told the woman’s husband, Babatunde Akpata, that he should forget his wife, Bose, because he had taken custody of her and their son as his wife and child.
The incident happened at 34 Road in Gowon Estate, Egbeda area of Lagos where they reside.
It was gathered that the husband, Akpata, was traumatized and frustrated and he then went to Gowon Estate Police Division to report his predicament.
Adekunle was said to have already taken custody of Bose, was fulfilling her sexual needs and the need of the 7-year old boy. The police did not state if Adekunle was actually the father of the boy but it was gathered that Adekunle was dating Bose before she eventually moved in to live with him.
However, the police busted Adekunle’s house, arrested him, rescued the Bose and the child and took them to the station.
Adekunle was later charged before the Ogba Magistrates Court for abduction with the intent to marry, having sexual intercourse with her and for abducting the boy.
He pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Christopher John, did not oppose his bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mr. Peter Nwaka, granted him bail in the sum of N200,000 with two sureties in like sum .
The matter was adjourned till 10th December, 2018.
