Woman Bites Neighbour’s Lips During Pubic Brawl

A 50-year old woman, one Kemi  Dairo, has been arrested in Lagos for allegedly biting off another woman’s lips during a pubic brawl.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at 20 Akinpelu Street in Otto area of Lagos where they reside.

The victim, Bimbo Adeyemi, reportedly tongue lashed Kemi in an exchange of words while they quarrelled in their compound.
The victim was said to have revealed and told the suspect what she could not bear in the public.
In anger, Kemi reportedly attacked, grabbed Bimbo and gave her bites on her lips. The victim was said to have bled profoundly and was rushed to an undisclosed hospital where she was treated.
The matter was reported to the police and Kemi was arrested. Police source said that the victim had lost part of her lips in the process which cannot be restored again.

Kemi was later charged before the Ebute Metta Magistrates Court for assault.
She pleaded not guilty.
The prosecutor, Inspector Chinalu Nwadione, did not oppose her bail.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. A.O. Adedayo, granted her bail in the sum N50,000 with one surety in like sum.
She was remanded in prison custody pending when she will perfect her bail condition.
