AA – The Double Distinction

Every politician is a Troubadour. They journey like Pastoralists knowing that they must seek green and keep green to survive. That said, an occasion is as remarkable as the quality of guests it attracts. This is why capacity is not defined by a political party, but by the quality of its membership.
Before now, the AA like PPA in 2007, was just one empty vacuum waiting to be filled. Fortunately, the substance that has come to dominate this empty space is of distinct attribute. Coincidentally, Ugwumba Uche Nwosu moved from the APC – a part with just one letter “A”, figuratively meaning a single strand of distinction – to AA, connoting “Double Distinction”.
Without Uche Nwosu, AA would just be some generic political party jostling for relevance on the political turf. Today, the entry of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu has redefined the face and fate of a once thriving party. This points to the quality of Ugwumba Uche Nwosu’s personality. It showcases a seething movement away from the “Old order” – a break from the norm.
While some are coming with a single Distinction (A = Distinction. P = Pass. C = Credit), some others are coming with three “weak passes” (P = Pass. D = Pass. P = Pass), Ugwumba Uche Nwosu is coming with DOUBLE DISTINCTION (A = Distinction. A = Distinction).
Back home, in Ngor Okpala, the advocates of retrogression are beating the drums so loudly for individuals who are not just coming on a platform with 3 WEAK PASSES, but are in themselves Weak Candidates.
For me and my Household, we would rather go for DOUBLE DISTINCTION. You can choose otherwise. After all, Life is about Choices.
