New Year: Hon Doris Uboh Preaches Peace & Reconciliation

Posted on January 2, 2019

The Delta North All Progressives Congress, APC, Senatorial District Candidate, Engr. Doris Uboh, has wished all Delta Northerners a Happy and Prosperous New Year, saying, “My prayers is that God should give us the wisdom to chose love instead of hatred, peace instead of war and progress instead of stagnation”.

The former Member of the Federal House of Representatives urged Delta Northerners to guard against utterances, embrace peace and join hands with President Muhammadu Buhari to take Nigeria to the next level, instead of decimating energy on activities that will divide the one indefatigable APC family in Delta State.

Hon. Engr. Uboh made the plea on Monday in Asaba, Delta State, in her New Year Message, issued through her Media Team.

In her goodwill message, Uboh advised politicians and all loving supporters of APC to pray fervently for the state and the country at large, “Especially now that Nigeria is preparing to go to the polls’.

Speaking further, the well respected lady further enjoined all and sundry to join hands with President Buhari in maintaining peace and unity of the country.

The former Federal lawmaker, however, commended all Delta Northerners for their resilience, perseverance and total commitment to the ideals of the party in spite of the daunting challenges facing the APC family of Delta State, noting that 2019 will be better for us as a family.

Her words: “This is what we need in our case, to reason together like one united family, to solve our problems like one people”.
