The Ooni Of Ife, His Imperial Majesty, Oba Ogunwusi Enitan Adeyeye, has been honoured for his contribution towards humanitarian services in the the country.
It was a special day of glory for the paramount ruler of the Yoruba land on Boxing Day at the 2018 Yoruba Movie Gist Awards as he was given the Special Recognition Award For Humanitarian Service through his Non Governmental Organisation (NGO), Hope Alive Initiative (HAI).
At the event to ably represent the royal leader and accept the award on his behalf, was Princess Temitope Adesegun, the Deputy Chief Convener of HAI, who was joined by top stars in the Yoruba movie industry such as Yomi Fabiyi, Madam Saje, Mustapha Solagbade,Yemi My Lover, Yewande Oyekoya and others.
Delivering the Ooni’s message and appreciation, Princess Adesegun expresses his passion to impact lives and mission to reach out to the less privileged more in the New Year, 2019.
PM EXPRESS reports that over the past few months, the Hopes Alive Initiative has touched thousands of lives across the country, donating massively to IDPs, slums, and generally the less privileged in the society.
