Buruj Management To Create Spaces For Newly Registered Players

Posted on March 18, 2019

As more and more players are beginning to show interest to be part of Buruj Sports Academy upcoming international engagements that will see them feature in quite a number of tournaments this year, the Management is set to create spaces to accommodate the newly registered players.

The CEO of the academy, Salaudeen Waheed, who is already in the UK to hold talks with the organisers and make all the logistics and technical ground works, disclosed that more enquiries are flooding in from within and outside the country and filling the remaining slots will be more competitive than expected.

Following their exploits in the last couple of years, the Lagos-based academy’s players have become the toast of football agents and scouts who will be on ground while special trials will be organised for some of the players who must have distinguished themselves.

All these and many more are the reasons the CEO had to jet out of the country as advance party to make necessary negotiations and see how spaces can be created to accommodate as many players as possible during the trip.

The players in camp both the old and new ones are already being put through rigorous training to make them fit for the challenge ahead while series of friendly games are being put in place to ensure team cohesion and proper drilling.

Meanwhile, like it happened when Buruj Sports Academy won double titles last year, the management are willing to partner with other football academies across the country who are willing to expose some of their exciting talents to international competitions as a way of developing and marketing them.

It would be recalled that some renowned players like Shevchenko and Mike Owen come through some of those tournaments being organised by Team Tours Direct based in the United Kingdom.
