A single lady lost a whopping sum of N7.8m in Lagos to her estranged lover, Chika Durueke, who promised to marry her, collected the money and thereafter jilted her.

P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the duo met at St Michael’s Anglican Church in Coker area of Orile, Lagos, during a church programme and eventually became lovers.
She was said to have rented an apartment, furnished it and moved into it in order to settle down for the marriage but that was not to be as Durueke asked for a little time to enable him inform his relatives in his hometown, Owerri, Imo State.
