The political scenario in Anambra State has always had its peculiarity, analysis and possible predictions which are very much different from other states of the federation, especially as it concerns the chief administrator of the state (governorship position) and possibly this is what the opposition political parties in the state are yet to understand.

Sequel to the above, it is imperative to state unequivocally without any iota of exaggeration that APGA remains the only functional political party in Anambra State with fundamental political structure across the 326 political wards in Anambra State and as such has become the most effective and efficient grassroots network for political mobilization and capacity building platform for leadership orientation /training, etc

What the opposition political parties has over time failed to unravel is how best to nurture her political manifestos and marry same with a vigorous grassroots structure across board to be able to compete with APGA during an election.

Unfortunately, based on experience the major opposition political parties in Anambra which are the PDP and APC, lack scope and organizational structure at the grassroots level and as such have always floated on the principle of adoption of third party (aggrieved members of APGA) for political support.

No political party can survive without crisis and APGA cannot be exempted yet in all the internal political impasse, the party has remained focused in delivering her political promises and ideological proposals to the core for Ndi Anambra.
As the next governorship race gathers momentum to 2021, we must understand that APGA has an added advantage over every other political parties. In APGA, the party decision is supreme and the interest of the party supersedes every other interest and in doing that, there is effective interest articulation and aggregation which was not obtainable in other political parties.

The zoning principle which APGA has maintained shall also go a long way in shaping her strong influence and widespread acceptance. This will equally be supported with high quality of candidate which the party has always presented in every election.

In all, what unites us is more powerful /stronger than what divides us.
