Two men, Olabisi Olaniawo, 35 and Busayo Adeshope, 27, have landed in serious trouble after they allegedly took a 13-year old girl to a popular hotel in Lagos and engaged her in sex romp.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the alleged rape happened on Mudashina Street in Igando area and at the popular Oak Hotel Boet in Ikeja area of Lagos.

It was gathered that the suspects reportedly lured the victim to Igando and to the hotel located at Ikeja and had engaged her in sex romps on different occasions before the alleged rape was exposed by the victim.

The matter was reported to the Police; they were arrested and later transferred to the Gender Section of the Police Command for investigation.
During interrogation, the suspects admitted that they slept with her but did not force her into the act as it was with her consent.
However, the Police found their conduct culpable and charged them before the Ogba Magistrates Court for the alleged offence.
The Court did not take their plea after the prosecutor, Supol Ezekiel Ayorinde, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.
Thus, the Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. B.O Osunsanmi, ordered them to be remanded in prison custody without an option of bail. The Court directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send to the DPP for advice.
The matter was adjourned till 21st August, 2019.
P.M.EXPRESS gathered that the defendants may spend several years in prison custody if the DPP finds them culpable, they are tried and found guilty for rape.
