Debutant Burundian Sada Nahimana was a delight to watch in the final of the women’s singles of first leg of 2019 Lagos Open on Monday when she humbled her hard fighting Brazilian foe Laura Pigossi

P,M.EXPRESS reports that Nahimana won the match 2-6, 6-4, 6-3 to win the women’s singles trophy. Laura Pigossi from Brazil paired India’s Rutuja Bhosale to beat the India-Egypt duo of Sandra Samir & Prarthana Thombare 4-6, 6-4, 10-7 in the women’s doubles.

Calvin Hemery from France defeated former Champion Aldin Sektic from Bosnia & Herzegovina 6-1, 6-2 to lift men’s singles trophy

The Men Doubles was won by the pair of Aziz Dougaz/Skander Mansouri who beat defeated the Lock brothers, Benjamin and Courtney in 7-6(4), 6-3 game
