The Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Senator Uche Ekwunife, on Thursday received a delegation of the recently Commissioned Nigerian Army officers who hail from Anambra State.

The newly commissioned officers of the Nigerian Army paid the Senator a courtesy call in her office at the National Assembly to identify with her as one of the prominent Federal Lawmakers from the State.
Addressing the officers, Senator Ekwunife, who represents Anambra Central Senatorial District, congratulated them for successfully passing out from training.

She noted that their being commissioned to serve the nation as Military Officers is a thing of pride and they must endeavour to live up to the expectations of their families, communities and the nation at large.

Ekwunife urged the newly commissioned officers to remain good Ambassadors of the State by conducting themselves in a manner expected of responsible officers while discharging their duties as military personnels.

She appreciated President Muhammadu Buhari and the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen. Tukur Buratai for providing the young officers the opportunity to serve the nation as well as pass through the rigorous professional trainings required for their successful enrollment into the Army.
