Finn Balor And Kyle O’Reilly Go Head To Head For NXT Championship
Fans of the WWE can gear up for another thrilling week of action on SuperSport, with live airings of the NXT, SmackDown and Raw shows running from Thursday 1 October to Tuesday 6 October 2020.
The action begins on the morning of Thursday 1 October with WWE NXT Episode 584.
All eyes will be on the build-up to the NXT Championship clash between Finn Balor and Kyle O’Reilly, who won the first-ever gauntlet eliminator to earn a shot at the title.
“This was huge,” said O’Reilly after winning the eliminator. “I came into this match on relatively short notice, but we make the most of these opportunities. This is the biggest moment of my life. I thrive under high pressure situations; it really drives me. Finn Balor, NXT, the world is gonna see just what Kyle O’Reilly can do.”
Saturday 3 October brings Episode 1102 of WWE SmackDown.
The simmering rivalry between cousins Roman Reigns and Jey Uso will be the main focus after their epic meeting at ‘Clash of Champions’, while Alex Bliss appears to be a slave to ‘The Fiend’, going crazy in her last match against Lacey Evans when triggered by a music and lighting cue.
What nefarious plans does ‘The Fiend’ have in mind for ‘The Goddess’?
The woman’s division will also be shaken up by the arrival of a mystery competitor, whose only hint at her identity was the word ‘Untouchable’ written in lipstick on a mirror during last week’s episode of SmackDown.
Tuesday 6 October will feature Episode 1428 of WWE Raw.
With a new landscape in the wake of ‘Clash of Champions’, all eyes will be on the faction named Retribution and their ongoing feud with The Hurt Business, while Drew McIntyre, Keith Lee and Randy Orton will continue to dominate the question of who deserves to reign as WWE Champion.
