Aarebirin Hon. Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba Mourns Alaafin of Oyo
The National Deputy Chairman, Association of Local Government Vice Chairmen of Nigeria and Executive Vice Chairman Ikorodu LGA, Lagos State, Aarebirin Hon Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, has commiserated with the entire Yoruba race and the good people of Oyo State on the ascension unto glory of His Imperial Majesty, Oba Dr. Lamidi Olayiwola Adeyemi III, Iku Baba Yeye, Alaafin of Oyo to join his ancestors.
Aarebirin Hon Princess Folashade Olabanji-Oba, who is also the founder of Asiwaju Distinguished Ambassadors Movement and National P.R.O. (Women For SWAGA), said, “We cannot overemphasise the importance of His Majesty’s role as a father figure in the fight against insecurity, kidnappings and pervasive corruption in Nigeria; particularly being the voice of the Yoruba people, which is mostly needed now, considering the present aggravated perilous times we are confronted with”.
“This is indeed an irreplaceable huge loss to all sons and daughters of Oduduwa, particularly the Oyo people.”
