Abuja NSF Day 4: Team Lagos Win 2 More Gold Medals In Judo, Wushu Kungfu

Team Lagos have increased the gold tally in the ongoing 19th National Sports Festival to four on the fourth day of the tournament on Sunday.
The gold medals were won in Ayo (male) and Wushu Kungfu (male). Seun Ayedun won Ayo gold, while Sunday Kingsley also got a gold medal from Nangu event of Wushu Kungfu.
PM EXPRESS can report that more silver and bronze medals were also won on Day 4 of the festival. Two silver medals were won in Para powerlifiting with Kafilat Almaroof winning a silver medal in the 72kg Classification female event. She was also won a call up to the national camp.

Wushu Kungful provided seven bronze medals for Team Lagos on Sunday. In Gunshau event, Moses Onyedikachi won a bronze medal so also were Donatus Chinedu in Nanqaua and Daqahu. Ugwoke Tochukwu won bronze medal in Taigiquan, while Amos Patience won bronze in Nangu event,
Handball game between Lagos and Delta ended in stalemate with the two teams played for draw of 28 points each. Lagos boxers were alos making steady progress in the boxing event at the Aguiyi Ironsi Cantonment, Asokoro. The pugilists overcame their various opponents on Sunday with more fights continue on Monday.
Meanwhile, activities in Team Lagos camp are bubbling with the Lagos State Sports Commission fulfilling the cash rewards for each medal won to the athletes.
