Adeolu Adeboye Not Involved In Any Contract Scam In Kaduna As Ronchess Global Resources Denies Any Irregularities

Posted on August 30, 2024

On Friday, Ronchess Global Resources Plc issued a detailed response to allegations published by Sahara Reporters on August 28 regarding road construction contracts awarded by the Kaduna State Government.

The online publication had alleged that Pastor Adeolu Adeboye, a board member of Ronchess, was awarded contracts by the state government and that some of the projects were abandoned.

“The misinformation about Ronchess Global Resources Plc. and Pastor Adeolu Adeboye is troubling and unwarranted. It’s important to clarify that Pastor Adeolu is not the owner or a shareholder in the company,” the Company said in a statement.

The company also clarified that the Adebimpe Adeboye mentioned is not related to Pastor Adeolu Adeboye as erroneously claimed.

Ronchess believes the publication deliberately targeted the Adeboyes due to the church leadership role of Pastor Adeolu’s father, Pastor Enoch Adeboye.

Ronchess restated its legal rights against any inhuman treatment or arrest over civil disputes.

It said the allegations are receiving the attention of its legal representatives for further actions.

The company urged the public not to be misled by the claims made in the Sahara Reporters article.

“The ongoing legal actions between Ronchess and the Kaduna State Government, are rooted in a civil contract dispute—nothing more.

“While Pastor Adeolu Adeboye serves as one of our directors, it’s crucial to clarify that he was never awarded any contract and neither did he nor Ronchess abandon any contract. He also did not receive any funds from the Kaduna State Government.

“Recent libelous publications by SaharaReporters suggesting otherwise are false and appear to be part of a deliberate effort to tarnish his reputation and the Ronchess brand. Ronchess remains committed to delivering quality work and upholding transparency in all our dealings.
