After America Training, Ex-Messiah FC Coach Eyes National Team Job

Former Messiah Football Club of Lagos Ushurhe Oladayo Anthony has expressed readiness to handle his former club and other professional clubs if he returns to Nigeria.
Oladayo said that he went to United State of American through scholarship to acquire more knowledge in the areas of coaching and sports management. These, he said. would give him the opportunity of handling any club in Nigeria.
Oladayo, who had a degree in Sports Coaching Fitness and Health in American Sports University and completed his United States Coaching licence D, E and F said his coming back to Nigeria is to praticalise what he acquired in America, adding that he has what it takes to handle any club and take such club to the next level.
“I am better than before. I have acquired enough education in the areas of coaching and sports management in America. I need to come to Nigeria very soon to give back to the society. Presently, I am rounding off my sports management course at the Worldwide College in California and as soon I am through, I will return to Nigeria and begin to implement what I have learnt in America for the past three years, “he said.
Oladayo who took Messiah FC to the quarter final of Lagos State Challenge Cup four years ago said he is not afraid to coach any national team if there is opportunity. He revealed that America is one of the best countries one can acquire coaching course, adding that what he knows can help him to do well in any national assignment given to him.
“Of course I can handle any national team especially the under age teams. I mean the U-17 and 20. If I have such opportunity, I will quickly grab it because I have what it takes to handle any national team. If there is vacancy in any of the national teams, I will apply and face interview with the NFF officials. It is through interview they will know that I am qualified to do the job,” he said.
