Posted on July 1, 2025

The excitement is reaching a fever pitch as Nigerian Idol Season 10 draws closer to its grand finale, proudly refreshed by Bigi, Nigeria’s leading range of bold and refreshing world-class quality soft drinks.

With just two weeks left to crown the next Nigerian idol, last night’s live show delivered powerful moments, emotional performances, and a bittersweet goodbye.

Themed “Naijashow and Motown”, the Top 5 contestants delivered two songs each, a dynamic blend of contemporary Nigerian hits and timeless Motown classics.

Purp kicked off the night with “Free Fall” by Tems, showing depth and vocal range. She later returned with an electrifying performance of “Something’s Got a Hold on Me” by Etta James.

Mikki followed with a smooth and heartfelt rendition of “Commas” by Ayra Starr, and later gave an emotional performance of “I’ll Be There” by The Jackson 5.

Lawrence brought presence and warmth with “With You” by Davido featuring Omah Lay, then turned up the funk with “Superstition” by Stevie Wonder.

Raymu delivered passion and power with “Love Me Jeje” by Tems, and then moved the audience with a soulful take on “End of the Road” by Boyz II Men.

Earlier in the evening, the results revealed that Brammy, one of the season’s most beloved voices, would be leaving the competition. But in a heartfelt gesture, he was invited back to close the show, ending the night with a joyous and unforgettable performance of “All Night Long” by Lionel Richie. It was a vibrant farewell that lit up the stage and left fans emotional.

The show also welcomed music icon 9ice, a judge from Season 9, who joined the panel as a special guest. With Brammy’s departure, the Top 4 are now officially locked in, and the race to the grand finale is on.

Bigi, long recognised for its unwavering support of Nigerian entertainment and young talent, continues to stand by these rising stars—cheering them on as they dream big, sing louder, and stay true to themselves.

As the finale draws near, Bigi invites fans across Nigeria to stay tuned, keep voting, and savour every flavourful moment that only Nigerian Idol and Bigi can deliver.

Who will be the next Nigerian Idol? The stage is set. The voices are ready. Let the countdown begin.
