MY AGENDA FOR PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES COMING TO SOUTH EAST AND SOME RANTS
GREAT IMO JONATHAN

After presenting an agenda or list of needs in the South East on social media yesterday, I got so many positive reactions from across the geopolitical zones of Nigeria. But at the same time, I have read some confused elements trying so hard to misinterpret my agenda.
A certain character after reading my post asked me: So, South East is the only geo- political zone in this country?
After a thorough laugh at his question, I asked him: if they tied his own mouth that he is not able to speak for the needs of his zone?
You can imagine, I am talking about what the people of the South East needs and he is questioning the people’s interest. I don’t know maybe I look like his personal secretary who should be speaking his mind.
I have asked him to please bring his own request to the table. I don’t speak for others, I am speaking as a South Easterner who understands the terrain and should be able to advice on what needs to be fixed in zone for Nigeria to make progress. And I have not stopped others from speaking for their zones as they understand better what needs to be fixed in their geography to help Nigeria make progress.
Then when I thought I was done dealing with the character, here comes one sycophant who thinks that support for President Buhari should be blind and not based on reason. I mean a grown and educated adult who thinks that Buhari is God, infallible and cannot be assisted to make better decisions and make success of his administration. This character simply concluded that setting agenda for all presidential candidates translates to an attack on President Buhari.
Kai! Who do some people sef?
Look at his response:
“anti Buhari with style. Share this with Omoyele Sowore, Fela Durotoye, Daniel Akinlami etc o. On Buhari I stand. No backsliding. Win or lose”
The chippering vuvusila thinks that by making demands on presidential candidates that I have written Buhari off. And that is very unfortunate.
I am here setting agenda for all presidential candidates and not Buhari alone.
The funny thing is that he knew me as a Buhari supporter. But unfortunately he does not understand that politics should be progressive. That our decisions per time should be based on our current realities. Maybe he is static?
Unfortunately I am not. Life for me is progressive and our standpoint per time should be determined by our current realities and needs.
Making demands as it relates to the needs of the South East does not translate to a disapproval of Buhari. It is rather a show of confidence that he can do better. Because, as the saying goes, the reward for hard work is more work.
I stand by my list of demands for all presidential candidates coming to South East, including President Buhari. I am not apologetic about it because those are some of the component issues that needs to be fixed for Nigeria to move forward.
