Agritech Nigeria Osun 2018: Aregbesola, Foreign Affairs Minister To Grace Meeting With Foreign Ambassadors In Abuja

A strategic meeting facilitated by the Federal Ministry of Foreign Affairs will be held between the team of Agritech Nigeria Osun 2018 and all accredited foreign Ambassadors and High Commissioners to Nigeria in Abuja.

The meeting is scheduled to hold at the Rotunda Hall inside the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on Wednesday, 15 August, 2018.

The meeting with the members of the Diplomatic Missions in Nigeria is been held to sensitise and market Agritech Nigeria Osun 2018 event to the Embassies and High Commissions based in Nigeria as the agricultural Exhibition and Conference will be attended by participants from over 136 countries of the world.

PM EXPRESS understands that a Note Verbale inviting all the accredited Embassies and High Commissions in Nigeria has been sent by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs’ Trade Investment and Foreign Cooperation Division, while the Ministry has equally notified the Government of the State of Osun through the Honourable Commissioner for Agriculture and Food Security, Mr Kunle Ige of the meeting.

Expectedly, Honourable Minister of Foreign Affairs, Mr. Geoffrey Onyeama will declare the meeting open. It will also have in attendance the Executive Governor of the State of Osun, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola and Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Others important dignitaries who will attend the meeting include the Permanent Secretary, Ministry of Water Resources, Director General, Nigerian Governors Forum, Director General, National Agricultural Seed Council, Chairman Board of National Agricultural Research Council, National President, Seed Entrepreneurs Association of Nigeria (SEEDAN), Representative of the Minister of Science and Technology and Director of Agribusiness, Federal Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Development.

Top management staff of SIFAX Group of Companies, Lagos are also expected at the meeting which will give the opportunity to the Diplomatic Communities to have firsthand information about the Agritech Nigeria Osun 2018 event for active participations and mobilisation for the program.

Agritech Nigeria Osun 2018, the first Nigeria’s largest Exhibition and Conference on agriculture, farm machineries, dairy, poultry, water technology, livestock equipment, agriculture processing technologies and environmental control, is being organized by the Government of the State of Osun, Fesco Agalu Enterprises Nigeria Limited, Kenes Exhibition (organiser of Agritech Israel) and SIFAX Group of Companies.

The event will hold at the Osogbo Stadium from 20-22 November, 2018.
