All Now Set For CHSR 2021 Annual Training Programme

All is now set for Centre for Human and Socioeconomic Rights, CHSR, a Civil Society Organization, led by Comrade Alex Omotehinse, to hold their annual training for 2021 in Lagos.
P.M.EXPRESS reports that the event will take place on Saturday 27th March, 2021, at Liberation Centre located at 696 Lagos-Abeokuta Expressway opposite Ojokoro Micro finance Bank, Ijaiye Bus Stop, Ijaiye, Lagos by 10 am prompt.
The theme of this year’s training series is ‘Human Rights Education in 21st Century’ while the sub- theme is ‘The Effective Use of Social Media as youthful and useful human rights education tool’.
The two facilitators are the Executive Directors, Mr. Shina Loremikan of Centre Against Impunity and Barrister Sarah Ene Unobe of the International Center for Human Right, Nonviolence and Safety Awareness, CHRNVSA.
The Center for Human and Socio-Economic Rights (CHSR) is a Non-governmental Organization (NGO) registered as a corporate body to defend, sustain and promote the fundamental human and socio-economic rights of every Nigerians, as guaranteed by the Nigeria constitution.
The CHSR aligns with other organizations committed to an ideal Nigeria society founded on participatory democracy equity, fairness and social justice. The group campaigns and advocates for the decongestion of Prisons in Nigeria.
Over the years, the (CHSR) has given free legal assistance to victims of rights violation, has also worked with various government and Non-governmental institutions in addressing culture, economic and social justice with a view to ameliorating the suffering in the society.
