Amawbia Agog As Ekwunife Flags Off Another Road Project
The entire Amawbia community went agog as the Senator representing Anambra Central Senatorial District, Uche Ekwunife, PhD on Thursday, December 2, 2021 flagged off another road project. The Onukwube/Kabe College road Amawbia is one of the numerous road infrastructure projects attracted by the federal lawmaker.
The infrastructural project is aimed at sustaining the economic development and social needs of the people of the state.
Speaking at the site, Ekwunife, who was represented by a delegation of her project team led by Anambra State former Chairman of ASUBEB, Dr. Rose Nwankwo, said that she is focused on attracting more dividends of democracy and improving living standards of constituents. Ekwunife charged the contractor to ensure quality work and timely completion of the road.
In his remarks, the PDP Amawbia ward II women leader, Mrs. Magnes Obieze, extolled the legislative impact of Ekwunife across the zone, adding that the lawmaker has done exceedingly well in the National Assembly. She thanked the A-grade lawmaker for attracting the road project, while assuring of the community’s continuous support as she discharges her mandate.
Appreciating, Mrs. Rita Chika Odumodu expressed satisfaction that Ekwunife is always keying into programmes that would have direct impact on the lives of the constituents. She called on the people of the community to always support the quality representation of the Senator to enable her to do more.
Earlier, the Contractor handling the construction of the road, Chief Ikechukwu Igboanugo, assured that the construction company would deploy all the equipment to the site to ensure timely completion of the road. He also promised to deliver quality work.
