The President General of respected Niger Delta socio-cultural group, Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe (JP AP), who doubles as the National President of the Southern Youth Foundation of Nigeria, has congratulated Pipeline Infrastructure Nigeria Ltd – PINL, for being named as “Company of the Year” by New Telegraph, a recognition that highlights the company’s growing impact in protecting Nigeria’s oil and gas infrastructure.

Amb. Ibe said, “On behalf of the Orashi National Congress, ONC, I extend our warm congratulations to PINL for the prestigious award. The award as Company of the Year was meritoriously presented in acknowledgment of PINL’s sustained efforts in tackling crude oil theft, reducing pipeline vandalism, and helping to stabilise operations around critical national assets”.

“Aside having cordial relationship with host communities and doing great CSR, PINL has distinguished itself through a practical, results-driven approach that combines engineering expertise with strong security coordination. The ONC is happy to note that the company’s collaboration with government security agencies, alongside the deployment of improved surveillance and monitoring systems, has strengthened asset protection and boosted operational efficiency in the sector.”

“This award came as Nigeria continues to intensify its fight against crude oil theft and pipeline sabotage—long-standing challenges that have impacted production levels and national revenue. We highly commend PINL for the great work the company is doing, which is having a huge impact on the economy because of the uninterrupted flow of oil.”
“The ONC hereby reaffirms the confidence we have in PINL’s growing role in safeguarding Nigeria’s energy infrastructure while maintaining regulatory compliance and international best practices. PINL’s empowerment initiatives for our people and the cordial relationship with the host communities are noted and highly appreciated” Amb Comrade Emeni Ibe concluded.
