The President General of notable Niger Delta socio-cultural group, the Orashi National Congress, ONC, Ambassador Emeni Ibe, JP, AP, has commended Rivers State Governor, Sir Siminalayi Fubara, for the completion and commissioning of the Agba Ndele Road and Bridge.

Traditional rulers and community leaders in the area also welcomed the project ahead of its official commissioning, describing it as a critical link that connects the community to Emohua Local Government Area.

Ambassador Ibe said the road and bridge project demonstrates Governor Fubara’s commitment to infrastructure development and to addressing the yearnings of Rivers people at the grassroots.

He thanked the Governor for delivering on his promise to open up rural communities and improve connectivity across the state.

“The completion of the Agba Ndele Road and Bridge will improve road safety, reduce travel time and boost economic activities in the area,” Ambassador Ibe stated.

According to the ONC President General, the new road will make movement of people, goods and services easier for residents who previously battled poor access and long travel times.

He noted that farmers will now be able to transport their produce to markets in Emohua and other parts of the state more quickly, while business owners will enjoy reduced transportation costs and better access to customers.

“Farmers and business owners can now move their goods to different destinations more easily and quickly. This project will directly impact livelihoods and open the area for more investment,” he added.

Traditional rulers in the area also expressed appreciation to Governor Fubara, saying the road and bridge had ended years of isolation and hardship for communities along the corridor.

They described the commissioning as a welcome development that will strengthen unity, security and economic integration between the communities and Emohua LGA.

Ambassador Ibe further prayed for wisdom and strength for Governor Fubara as he continues to pilot the affairs of the state.

He thanked the Governor for bringing “visible progress to communities” and urged the administration to sustain the tempo of infrastructure delivery across Rivers State.

The Agba Ndele Road and Bridge is expected to be commissioned by Governor Fubara as part of ongoing efforts to open up rural areas and stimulate economic growth in Rivers State.
