Amuwo Odofin Chairmanship: APC Stakeholders Writes Open Letter To National Leader, Asiwaju Tinubu

APC stakeholders in Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Area of Lagos State have written an open letter to the National leader of the All Progressives Congress, Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu, over moves to replace Hon Dipo Olorunrinu as the Chairmanship candidate of the Party’s Primary held last week in the State.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that in the letter signed by the former Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Chairman, Hon. W.G. Oduwuni, it called for intervention of their leader, Asiwaju Tinubu, to restore Hon. Dipo Olorunrinu as the winner of the Party’s Primary in Amuwo-Odofin. 
The letter reads:
“AARE ASIWAJU BOLA AHMED AKANDA, AKANBI TINUBU, you have always been known for doing justice for peace to reign in the society, equity, fair play with the truth and fear of Almighty Allah. Why and how would not you do same on the outcome of Amuwo-Odofin Local Government Primary election?” 
“The Community has elected Executive Chairmanship candidate of their choice to govern them for the next four years during the just concluded party primaries.” 
“We are tired of suffering and punishment occasioned by Mr. Valentine’s style of rulership.”

“Hon. Dipo Olorunrinu  – (TALK “N” DO) has been tested and trusted even while he was in Lagos State House of Assembly as a PDP Member. For his excellent services and many more other reasons, Amuwo-Odofin people unanimously chose Hon. Dipo Olorunrinu to be our Executive for the next four years and after his tenure Sir, you can do the comparison. He, Mr. Valentine and his cohorts have been boasting and celebrating by shooting guns around some parts of FESTAC Town and there was panicking all over.” 
“Please Sir, investigate. He also said that some powerful party leaders have given assurances of replacing Hon. Dipo’s name with his name after collecting millions of Naira from him before the announcement. But we, Hon Dipo Olorunrinu’s supporters, believe in God and our good leaders decisions.”

“We think APC laid its foundation on the fear of God, truth, peace and development. Amuwo-Odofin must be peaceful and develop within one year by the grace of God under the leadership of TALK “N” DO.”
