Anambra 2021: Sullivan Akachukwu Nwankpo Declares To Run

Yesterday at the Abuja Estate Headquarters of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in Awka, the State Working Committee (SWC) of the Party received in audience the Former Special Adviser Technical Matters to Former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, High Chief Nze Akachukwu Sullivan Nwankpo (Oputa ifeadi).

Declaring the intentions for his visit, Nze Nwankpo stated that he has come to familiarize with the leadership of the party in the State and to identify with them as party remains supreme. He revealed that having served the country at the National level he has come home to identify with the party that has the interest of Ndigbo at heart. He assured them of his undying love and support for the party now and even after the party primaries, stating that his honest intention is to serve Ndi-Anambra wholeheartedly.

Welcoming him to the State headquarters of the party, the State working Committee (SWC) led by the State Chairman Chief Sir Norbert Onyedum Obi (Ugobuezennunu) assured him of their prayers and support as the party remains a family uniting everyone, with the liberty to express and aspire for any position revealing that only party primaries will determine the flag-bearer of the party whom everyone will eventually queue behind. Sir Norbert Obi assured that once the Independent National Electoral Commission releases her time table the arms of the party will be wide open to accommodate everyone who has interest in serving Ndi-Anambra offering everyone an equal and level playing ground.

Other members of the the State Working Committee present were the State Vice Chairman of the party Chief Tony Omeligwe Elee, Zonal Chairmen of the 3 Senatorial zones, the State Secretary Barr Ifeanya Anthony amongst others.

Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo was appointed the Desk Officer on Niger Delta and Senior Special Assistant Special Duties to the President by late President Umaru Musa Yar’ Adua. Nze Akachukwu Nze Akachukwu Sullivan Nwankpo later became Senior Special Assistant Special Projects, and Special Adviser Technical Matters to President Goodluck Jonathan. Subsequently, he was appointed Secretary of Presidential Taskforce on Power and Secretary SURE-P.

Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo also had a sterling career in the Private Sector as a strategist and conflict resolution consultant, brokering peace between communities and oil companies in the Niger Delta for over 15 years.

A graduate of philosophy, public administration and law, Nze Akachukwu Nwankpo is also a University of Cambridge certified Partnership Broker.

He is a highly decorated cabinet Chief of numerous communities in Anambra State. He is from Okija in Ihiala Local Government Area of the State.
