Anambra Media Awards: Organisers Set To Announce Nominees

The Anambra Media/Movie Excellence Awards organisers will unveil the list of nominees for the 4th edition of the awards on Thursday, September 1, 2022, at Awka.

 

In a statement released in Awka on Friday, Dr Chuma-Odili Harris, the President of the Association of Digital Media Core Advocates ADMCA, organizers of Anambra Media/Movie Awards said only deserving individuals and organisations will be considered for honour.

 

“We will continue to abide by our core principles of transparency, credibility, and integrity as we work assiduously to sustain the longest-running media awards in Anambra State,” he said.

 

Dr Chuma-Odili noted that in spite of the harsh economic conditions in the country, organisers have remained focused on sustaining the awards in order to ensure that Anambra media and movie  practitioners are recognized, honoured, and motivated as they continue to make sacrifices to enhance the state’s media and entertainment industry.

 

Past winners of the award include Obioma Obidiegwu: Best Behaved Social Media Influencer 2020, Chidiebere Obika: ‘Online Media Team Of The Year’ i-Witness Media Group, Emeka Odogwu Emeka: ‘Oustanding Blogger Of The Year’ Odogwu Blog. Senator Dr. Victor Umeh OFR: Anambra Media Friendly Man Of The Year. Roy Ekwunife: Media Consultant, Nollywood Actor, Oguegbu Ostende Udoka: Journalist, Lecturer, Pamela Eboh: Journalist, Joy Odinye: Broadcast Journalist, Ikedinobi Rapulu Johnhillary: Outstanding Social Media Influencer of the year 2021, Chido Obidiegwu: Veteran Broadcast Journalist, amongst others.

 

On the Anambra Media/Movie Award platform, award decisions are made by a jury consisting of seasoned journalists across the state. Votes are collated and audited by indigenous online media Partners.
