The seventh edition of Buckwyld & Breathless which held at Eko Hotel & Suites, Lagos, penultimate weekend had a refreshing twist as premium beverage brand Coca-Cola refreshed the capacity audience at the concert.

From red carpet through the music fiesta, guests could not have enough of the refreshing power of Coke cocktails provided at the Coke Mix Bar section of the venue.

The evening was filled with plenty of thrills and excitement, but nothing glittered as brightly as Coca-Cola’s new 1L PET bottle courtesy of a refreshing moment provided by actress cum model, Annie Idibia.

Annie, star of Coca-Cola’s new Mama commercial, and wife of Tuface Idibia, showed the power of the Coke 1 Litre Mama pack when she stepped forward to refresh her husband, 2Baba and his performers after an electrifying and exhausting concert.

2Baba had shouted, ‘MamaDiMama’ in appreciation of his wife’s refreshing efforts; and the excited audience at this point could not help asking to be part of the fun on the stage.

An array of A-list celebrities added their voices and presence to the great night.

They include Timi Dakolo, Falz, Sound Sultan, Phyno, Ibejii, Bright Chimezie, Alex Ekubo, Kenny Blaq, Ayo Makun, Broda Shaggi, Bovi, Kelechi Amadi Obi, Ruggedman, Julius Agwu, ID Ogungbe, Michelle Dede, Anto Lecky, Ramsey Nouah, Jide Kosoko and Richard Mofe-Damijo.

In line with Coca Cola’s commitment to creating the climate for sharing and togetherness, Mama joined in creating a fun, inspiring and unforgettable evening at Buckwyld & Breathless, which is a scripted show created to let Nigerians enjoy an evening of live performances headlined by afro-pop super star, 2Baba Idibia and other Nigerian A-list artists.

Speaking on the concert, 2Baba said: “You know people like good music and great live performances, so I’m keeping that spirit alive because that’s the only place people get to watch me on a full scale.

“Buckwyld & Breathless is a scripted concert; it’s not like the regular shows where you just come to perform and go; it has a lot of props and so many artistic creative innovations on stage. That’s why I said it’s not like the regular shows you attend all the time. People may not understand it until they come and watch me perform on stage at the concert”.
