Police operatives at Gender Section of the Lagos State Command have arrested another man, Michael Adeoye, who reportedly inserted his fingers into the private part of a 3-year old girl and claimed that he was checking something there.

P.M.EXPRESS reports that the incident happened at Alhaji Amoo Street, Ojota area of Lagos, where they reside.

This happened after another man, a 43-year old Rasak Ali, was arraigned in Court for inserting his fingers inside the private part of a 4-year old girl in Ipaja area of Lagos.

The suspect, Adeoye, was said to have lured the little girl into his apartment, removed her pant and inserted his fingers into her private part.

The action has landed him in trouble as he was caught and handed over to the Police for interrogation over the dastardly act.

After interrogation, the Police found him culpable and later charged him before the Ogba Magistrates Court for sexual assault on the victim by finger penetration.

The Court did not take his plea when he was arraigned after the prosecutor, Supol Victor Eruada, asked the Court to refer the matter to the DPP for advice.

The Presiding Magistrate, Mrs. M. O. Tanimola, ordered his remand in Correctional Center at Kirikiri town, Lagos, pending the outcome of the DPP’s report.

The Court also directed the prosecutor to duplicate the file and send it to the DPP.

The matter was adjourned till 21st January, 2022, for report of the DPP to be ready, which will determine if the matter will be transferred to the High Court or not over jurisdiction.
