APC Orumba North after a careful review of the political events in the zone has served Hon. Romanus Ugochukwu Obi, who is representing the constituency, a quit notice saying that he had performed poorly and vowed to defeat him or whoever his party APGA will field in the constituency.

APC says, it has learnt lessons from the November 18, governorship election and that the party has adjusted for victory in the constituency in the next elections.

Nonso Nwafor is a member of AIF Media. He is a very young man who is determined to change the course of governance in Orumba North and impact positively on the lives of the people.

Since his declaration, Hon. Nwafor has been endorsed by youths and major stakeholders from Orumba North. The youths stated that they will not vote based on party affiliations in the next elections but on merit and competence.
They said that Nonso is one of them, who has street credibility and vow to get him elected.

Reacting to the endorsement of Orumba North youths, Hon. Nonso Nwafor said that he will ensure that Orumba North is no longer schemed out in the affairs of the state.

“Legislation is about making laws that will have direct impact on our people.
The APGA led government has not been fair to our constituency due to the docility of our serving member. This has to change. Constituency funds must be used judiciously to develop critical infrastructures in our area. I will also introduce bills that will bring about job creation for our youths. I will engage the government at all levels to help our locals access grants and soft loans to boast their farming” Nonso said.
