Are We Sitting At Home Or Under Siege?

There is a passionate appeal by the people encapsulated in Soludo’s speech when he called for interrogation into the motive of the various seccesionist agitation by some group of South-eastern Nigerians. Sincerely, the people are tired of the sullen feeling of fear and terror that follows the Monday sit-at-home order by people who should ordinarily be sympathetic to the basic survival of the masses they claim to fight for.
Hospitals, critical institutions of State and petty trading, including artisans have come under serious attacks in recent times. Traditional rulers have fled their Kingdoms, roads have become unsafe, not even the agricultural sector of the Southeast has been spared.
Indeed, this is a pathway to desolation that will do us no good.
Those enforcing an illegitimate Monday sit at home order long cancelled by the Leadership of IPOB are enemies of our collective existence. Why do we need to kill our people, starve them every Monday and shutdown our businesses just to enforce a draconian order that bears no good.
No one, no matter how strong should test the resolve of the people. If ndị Anambra from all walks of life are tired of this brazen criminality, it simply means that the time is set for a change of strategy.
